Ethiopian Virtual Airlines (vETH) is a virtual airline inspired by Ethiopian Airlines, one of Africa's leading carriers. We operate on VATSIM, IVAO and SayIntentions with a focus on realistic operations, community spirit and professional flying standards.

As a vETH pilot, you represent a proud tradition of African aviation excellence. We expect professionalism in the sky — but we also know that virtual aviation is, above all, a passion and a hobby.

• Safety first — We take safety reporting seriously. If something goes wrong on a flight, report it. No pilot is ever penalised for filing a safety report.

How flights work

• All flights are tracked via VAMSYS. You must be connected to VATSIM, IVAO, or SayIntentions during the flight.
• Use the Dispatch / Book Fly feature in your cockpit to choose a route and aircraft.
• After landing, your PIREP is automatically filed and reviewed by our operations team.
• PIREPs are evaluated on landing rate, flight time and adherence to the route.

Career progression

Ranks at vETH are earned through flight hours. Training and certifications exist to accelerate your progression — but they are never mandatory to fly. Your first flight is all it takes to become a full crew member.
